Politics is not our thing. Making great and meaningful fashion for women to enjoy and wear is our only objective. There's nothing political about that. It's just the right thing to do.
Yet, life is funny isn't it? Sometimes something jumps out of the headlines that really isn't about politics ... but about right and wrong
Sometimes even a non-political company like us must speak out.
Colbie Holderness and Jennie Willoughby share a bond no woman desires. They are both the former-wives of a man most recently employed by the White House. He's gone from his high-ranking post. It was the release of the photo showing Colbie Holderness with a black and blue eye that caused his ouster. Yet, she and his second wife Jennie are being doubted and attacked by guess who?
While we are not a cosmetic firm, the last time we checked no makeup being sold can make a woman's eye look like Colbie's right eye. Furthermore, it's safe to say most women don't run around punching themselves in the eye or asking anyone else to punch them for special effect. Evidence is evidence. Common sense is common sense. Wrong is wrong. Right is right.
No reasonable woman wants to see the #MeToo movement and it's positive energy hijacked or weaponized in the form of a false allegation against any man. If this were to occur, it would be a slap on the face and absolutely disrespectful to all women who actually are fully deserving of our support and compassion.
Should we be doubting Colbie Holderness and Jennie Willoughby? No matter who you are, man or woman, regardless of where you work or live, this isn't about politics. It's about honor.
